Qualifications

• Must hold a valid City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Having an SVQ / NVQ in Plumbing is advantageous.
• Experience in Water Hygiene / Legionella company is preferred.
• Familiarity with ACoP L8 / HSG274 / BS8580 required.
• Knowledge of hot and cold-water systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed reports with recommendations.

Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

A growing Legionella Company who pride themselves on providing quality legionella control services is currently seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. Candidates will be confident carrying out Risk Assessments on hot and cold water systems. Experience carrying out remedial plumbing works would support your application but is not essential as the client can offer further training. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Risk Assessor to grow alongside an up and coming company.

The successful candidate will be covering contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland and applications will be considered from: Irvine, Cumnock, Ayr, East Kilbride, Wishaw, Lanark, Glasgow, Paisley, Clydebank.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Holding the SVQ / NVQ L2 / L3 in Plumbing would be beneficial.
• Will have previous / similar experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Good working knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG274 / BS8580.
• Will have excellent knowledge of Hot and Cold-water systems.
• Will have excellent communication, IT and organisational skills.

The Role

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines on hot and cold-water systems on a mixed portfolio of sites.
• Producing detailed and accurate reports for clients and providing recommendations on further works required.
• Carrying out deadleg removals, and rerouting and installing PVC / copper pipework.
• Carrying out fault finding and diagnosing issues in a timely manner.
• Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Compiling floor plans / schematic drawings using computer software.
• Continuously upselling company services to clients e.g. Legionella management plans and monthly monitoring programmes.
• Liaising with clients, dealing with any issues efficiently and providing excellent technical reports.
