Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our global organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Legionella risk assessments and water hygiene-related tasks across a range of building types and water systems.,

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.
  • Perform water hygiene tasks, including temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing, and showerhead descaling.
  • Highlight unusual results and accelerate for further investigation.
  • Proofread your own reports and, where required, those of others.
  • Liaise with clients as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and consumables, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate data upload to SGS's digital project management platform.
Required Experience and Qualifications

Experience in Legionella risk assessments and water hygiene tasks. Familiarity with using handheld digital devices for data input. Knowledge of water systems and relevant regulations. Ability to perform risk assessments across various building types.

  • Essential qualifications (one or more of the following):
  • BOHS proficiency module certificates (P901 minimum, P903, P904) or City & Guilds equivalent (WH004).
  • Water Management Society Risk Assessor Course.
  • Ofqual nationally regulated Level 3 diploma in Legionella risk assessment.
