Qualifications

Job description

Bradley Environmental Consultants, with 34 years of experience, is looking for an experienced, qualified, and conscientious Legionella Remediation Engineer to join our team in Halesowen, West Midlands. This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly respected, growing nationwide company.

Responsibilities
  • Customer‑facing role undertaking a range of remediation & plumbing works.
  • Analyse internal and external reports to install and correct water system issues at client sites.
  • Install new hot‑water cylinders in compliance with G3 regulations, remove dead legs, clean and remove cold water storage tanks, service installations, and conduct disinfections of water systems.
  • Comply with company method statements, risk assessments, policies and procedures to ensure health, safety, welfare and security of staff and clients.
  • Assist in the development and training of junior team members.
  • Participate in ongoing quality‑control activities to maintain LCA certifications.
  • Complete and sign all relevant paperwork to meet legislative, licensable and financial requirements.
  • Represent Bradley Environmental Consultants professionally to clients, providing specialist advice and consultancy services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar work.
  • Knowledge of Legionella Guidance HSG274 and ACoP L8 Guidance.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent, Certificate‑in G3 Unvented & Vented Hot Water Storage Systems, City & Guilds Disinfection of hot and cold water systems in buildings.
  • Ideally hold CSCS Blue Card and Certificate‑in Water Regulations.
  • Full valid driving licence.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ambition and enthusiasm to develop self and others.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety related to Legionella work.
  • Ability to provide good customer service in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
Location & Working Hours

Location: Halesowen, West Midlands. Working week: 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday 8:00‑16:30, with some flexibility required to meet client needs.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £31,000–£39,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also receive:
