Legionella Remedial Plumber / Supervisor

Overview

We are working closely with a long-running National Legionella Consultancy that delivers a full range of water hygiene / legionella and plumbing services to a diverse client base. The client is looking for a well‑rounded Legionella Remedial Plumber / Supervisor to join their expanding department. The successful candidate will travel around the Yorkshire and North West region delivering all aspects of remedial duties to ensure the continued compliance of the company’s customers. Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 Plumbing qualification and have time spent working within a water treatment / legionella company.

Successful candidates must live within a commutable distance of one of the following locations: Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley.

Qualifications / Experience

• Hold a recognised Plumbing qualification – minimum level 2.
• Level 3 Plumbing NVQ or equivalent – desirable.
• G3 Unvented ticket – desirable.
• Experience working within a Water Treatment / Legionella company.
• Good time‑management skills – able to plan own work day / schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of water hygiene / remedial duties.
• Delivering all aspects of remedial plumbing duties to Healthcare, Commercial and Local Authority contracts.
• Tank upgrade and replacement works.
• Remedial action of water systems.
• Removing redundant pipework and dead legs.
• Pipework rerouting and modifications.
• Fault finding.
• Carrying out routine monitoring duties to ensure compliance with HSG / L8 guidelines.
• Maintaining customer’s on‑site logbooks.
• Testing, servicing, and maintaining TMVs.
• Supervising and training a team of plumbers.
• Cylinder servicing and installation.
• Pricing/quoting of plumbing jobs and leading where required.
