Legal Team Assistant – Full Time | Office-Based | Milton Keynes

I’m working with a highly respected, collaborative law firm in Milton Keynes, and they’re looking for a proactive and organised Team Assistant to join their team on a full-time, office-based basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide vital administrative and organisational support to the legal team, ensuring matters progress smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll help manage client files from start to finish, support lawyers with daily tasks, and play a key role in creating a positive and seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full lifecycle of client matters, from file opening through to closure
  • Providing diary and inbox management for lawyers
  • Handling post, scanning, document organisation, and transcribing dictation
  • Supporting billing, compliance monitoring, payment requests, and key date management
  • Assisting with reception cover and taking overflow calls when needed
  • Acting as a professional and friendly first point of contact for client enquiries
  • Supporting colleagues across the team and wider firm in a “one firm” environment
  • Assisting with Lexcel reviews and basic financial administration
  • Embracing new technology and helping improve processes.
