Overview

I'm currently recruiting for a capable and enthusiastic Legal Assistant / Paralegal or Secretary to join our busy Conveyancing department. This role involves providing high-quality administrative support to our lawyers, enabling them to focus on more technical legal matters. You will play a key part in maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to a positive and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling client enquiries and preparing straightforward legal documents
  • Typing correspondence, managing files, and ordering searches and Land Registry documents
  • Preparing files for billing and screening incoming calls
  • Sorting and prioritising post, emails, and messages
  • Providing reception cover and liaising with clients and third parties
  • Upholding LEXCEL standards and Law Society requirements
  • Understanding basic Solicitors Accounts Rules relating to client monies
