This role involves overseeing legal delivery operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing advanced legal tech to enhance service quality. The ideal candidate should be a qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with strong leadership and organizational skills, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in legal team management or legal operations.
• Strong understanding of locum legal services and workforce planning.
• Based in or near Birmingham; eligible to work in the UK.
• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer (UK or international).

ElevateFlex seeking a Team Lead to join our customers' Legal Delivery Centre (LDC) team in Birmingham. This role involves leading a team of paralegals and locum lawyers across document review and due diligence projects for a prestigious law firm.

You’ll be part of a dynamic management team, working closely with Legal Operations and leveraging cutting-edge legal tech, including AI review and automated drafting tools, to deliver high-quality legal services.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Fully onsite in Birmingham

As part of Elevate’s global Community of Talent, you’ll join a network of legal professionals from top law firms and in-house legal teams, working on exciting, high-impact projects.

You will:

• Lead and manage a team of paralegals and locum lawyers.
• Oversee document review and legal delivery operations.
• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Support workforce planning and legal tech adoption.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of legal work.
• Collaborate on project planning, resource allocation, and client communications.
• Contribute to best practice documentation and training.
• Explore legal tech tools to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
• Are based in or near Birmingham
• UK or Foreign Qualified Solicitor (or CILEX lawyer) and
• Proven experience in legal team management or legal operations.
• Exposure to multiple practice areas (e.g., Litigation, Corporate, Real Estate)
• Strong understanding of locum legal services and workforce planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
