The Role
  • Provide vital administrative and secretarial support to a team of Private Client solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage diaries and client files.
  • Liaise with clients and external parties.
  • Assist with probate applications and powers of attorney.
  • Support billing and case management.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
The Candidate
  • At least one year’s experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client or Wills & Probate department.
  • Good understanding of private client work including wills, probate, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Excellent organisational and document production skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident interpersonal abilities and a professional, empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
