Legal Secretary/Paralegal and Hearing Assistant - Commercial Property

Are you a legal secretary working within a Commercial Property department, are you seeking a new and interesting role in the centre of Bristol? Our client has a need for a legal secretary to join their Commercial Property team on a Full Time, Permanent basis. The partner, who this role will support, is deaf and so relies on his Secretary to assist him with paralegal duties as well as the traditional secretarial tasks. Working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, this role has become available as his current secretary has secured a training contract and will be pursuing a legal career. The main duties this role will cover include:

  • Dealing with all telephonecommunication - taking notes and dealing with issues where possible. Relying that informationback to the partner.
  • Dealing with land registry applications.
  • Produce letters and documents for clients.
  • Management of documentation.
  • Billing, open files, money laundry compliance, archivingetc.
  • Digital dictation.
  • Arrange meetings with clients.
Candidates will have a background in property and either be a legal secretaryor paralegal in a similar role. Excellent communication skills are a must. ILEX qualificationwould be very beneficial but not essential.
