Qualifications

Service Care Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm seeking a proactive and reliable Legal Secretary to support their property department in Stirling. The role focuses on commercial, residential property, and conveyancing law, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced secretary to assist a Partner in a dynamic, growing supportive team.

The Role

As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for assisting the Partner in managing a busy and varied caseload, working across a range of commercial and residential property matters, including:

  • Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Partner.
  • Preparing, amending, and proofreading legal documents such as contracts, leases, and conveyancing forms.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, surveyors, and other third parties.
  • Handling incoming correspondence and telephone queries.
  • Assisting with the preparation of property transactions, including conveyancing procedures.
  • Drafting and filing legal documents with the Land Registry and other relevant bodies.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within the property sector (Commercial, Residential, or Conveyancing).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and legal software systems.
  • Knowledge of property law and legal procedures would be advantageous.
