Overview

Legal Secretary - Social Housing - Norwich

A Solicitors firm with a top rate reputation throughout the East Anglia area is looking to recruit an experienced legal secretary to their specialist social housing team.

Responsibilities
  • Typing and preparation of relevant correspondence and documents.
  • File management including filing of documents along with opening of files, closing of files and archiving.
  • Scanning, paginating and photocopying.
  • Land Registry applications.
  • Drafting SDLT returns.
  • Dealing with calls into the team and advising accordingly or taking messages.
  • General admin tasks as required.
Qualifications / Experience
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working as a legal secretary in their current or previous roles.
  • Any experience in working within conveyancing/property with a knowledge/experience of dealing with land registry applications would be beneficial.
