About the role

We are looking for an experienced, confident and motivated Legal Secretary (Client Care Leader) to join our dynamic Commercial Property team in Bishop's Stortford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take the next step in their career, providing exceptional and proactive administrative support within a reputable and growing firm. Experience of working within property is required.

What this role would include

  • Providing full administrative and secretarial support to Solicitors and Partners in the Commercial Property team.
  • Preparing Land Registry forms, submitting and managing Land Registry applications.
  • Preparing and lodging Stamp Duty Land Tax forms.
  • Handling client queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Managing file administration (billing, opening, closing, archiving).
  • Coordinating appointments and maintaining diaries.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and other third parties.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a legal secretary role, commercial property or conveyancing is required.
  • Experience of using legal case management systems is desired.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
