Legal Personal Assistant - Private Client Team

Salary: £46,000 – £50,000
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

We are working with a highly regarded law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Assistant to join their Private Client team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support two Partners and three Associates within a busy, high-performing department that advises high-net-worth individuals and families.

Legal Personal Assistant Duties

You will provide proactive secretarial and administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional client service. Responsibilities include:

  • Complex diary and inbox management, anticipating priorities and ensuring meetings run smoothly.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients, maintaining trusted and professional relationships.
  • Supporting business development activities, including event coordination and client presentations.
  • Managing matter openings, compliance, and billing processes.
  • Preparing and proofreading correspondence and legal documents to the highest standard.
  • Coordinating travel and client events, and overseeing meeting preparation and follow-ups.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and enhance team efficiency.
Legal Personal Assistant Experience
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience as a PA within a Private Client or comparable legal team.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident, polished communicator who builds credibility quickly with clients and colleagues.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including document management and dictation software.
