Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an experienced Legal Director, International to join its UK headquarters in London (St. Pancras) with frequent travel to Milton Keynes.

This full-time, on-site role supports all Fanatics Collectibles businesses outside the US. You will provide strategic legal advice on complex commercial matters, draft and negotiate agreements, manage outside counsel, and help build policies and training across the organization while upholding high integrity and collaborative

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of PQE in-house or BigLaw, with multinational exposure.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an experienced Legal Director, International to join the Fanatics Collectibles legal team. This is full-time, 5 days on-site role based at Fanatics Collectibles’ UK headquarters in St. Pancras, London, also requiring frequent trips to our office in Milton Keynes.

This role will be cross-functional and support all business groups across all areas of Fanatics Collectibles various businesses outside of the US. You will be a strategic hands‑on, results‑oriented, business‑minded lawyer. You will provide advice on a diverse range of matters related to day-to-day business and operations to all level of team members.

When determining pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as experience and other qualifications.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Rendering advice and guidance regarding legal strategy, interpretation and all legal, compliance and regulatory matters;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad variety and frequent heavy load of commercial agreements, ranging from the day-to‑day/routine to super complex transactions, as well as terms and conditions for merchandise purchases, offerings and products on any scale;
  • Providing advice and counsel on marketing and promotions matters, including review of contest rules and digital content, including webpages and online promotions;
  • Engaging, and supervising outside counsel with an eye on careful cost control;
  • Developing and creating business level appropriate policies controls, procedures and programs;
  • Conducting training related to all responsibility areas.

What We're Looking For
  • Current Practicing Certificate (UK) or equivalent;
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) / Masters of Law (LLM) / CPE and Legal Practice Course (LPC);
  • 8+ years PQE; prior significant in‑house experience and/or BigLaw international firm; inhouse experience for a multinational company with US headquarters preferred;
  • Multi‑jurisdictional legal coverage experience preferred;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with confidence to communicate with business leaders and all level of employees;
  • Practical and proactive problem solver with a positive attitude;
  • Proficiency in the use and application of AI in a legal environment.
