Legal Counsel - UK-Based (Remote / Hybrid) - up to £80,000

Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support their growing international operations across the UK, US, South Africa, and India. This role focuses on commercial contracts, corporate law, and M&A activity, partnering closely with senior leadership to support strategic transactions and ongoing legal matters across multiple global regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with clients, partners, and vendors
  • Support M&A activity including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-integration
  • Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide legal guidance on risk, contract strategy, and business decision-making
  • Support data protection and privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including data processing agreements and cross-border data transfers
What we're looking for
  • Law degree and 3-6 years' experience in commercial, corporate, or M&A practice
  • Proven experience working with international contracts and cross-border legal issues
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and commercial negotiations
  • Background in tech-enabled or high-growth environments is highly beneficial

Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
