Job summary

Bullfinch Recruitment represents a growing international sports technology and data business seeking a Legal Counsel to cover commercial contracting, data rights and IP across multiple jurisdictions.

The role sits in the Legal & Compliance team, based in London, reporting to the Head of Legal. You will work closely with Commercial, Product, Technology and Finance to provide practical legal advice and support growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years PQE in private practice and/or in-house.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial, technology, data or software licensing agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice.
• Experience working in a technology, data, software, financial services or other regulated business.
• Experience in betting, gaming, gambling, sports data or sports rights is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements for data, technology and market infrastructure products.
• Support official data rights and IP protection and commercialisation.
• Assist with regulatory analyses for operation across jurisdictions.
• Advise on data protection and technology matters and manage legal risk.
• Work with cross-functional teams across the business to support growth.
