Overview

Our client is a global infrastructure business with operations in over 80 countries, delivering landmark projects in transportation, energy, water, and build. With an annual turnover exceeding €18 billion and a team of 80,000+ employees, they are recognized for their innovation, sustainability, and excellence in complex engineering projects.

The company is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with experience in non-contentious matters to join their London office and UK operations.

Your Role

As a qualified or experienced Legal Counsel who has experience working on UK NEC and ideally JCT projects, you will have worked on tunnelling, water, build, and natural resource infrastructure contracts. You will be adept at drafting and negotiating contracts, managing contracts, handling claims, and resolving disputes. Being responsible for contractual risk mitigation, you will ideally have worked on bids and tenders in the UK construction market. You will be working closely with the construction team as well as reporting to Director or Legal for Europe.

Career progression, including management responsibility, is a possibility given the expected growth of the group and its projects.
