Job summary

Taylor Root is partnering with a fast-growing Luxury Hospitality, Food & Beverage and Leisure group to appoint a Legal Counsel in Greater London. You will report to the General Counsel and advise on a broad range of commercial matters while supporting strategic initiatives across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with ideally 3-4 pqe from a Corporate or Commercial background.
• Experience gained in-house, private practice or a combination of both.
• Commercially minded and solutions focused.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
• Advising on supplier, customer and partnership agreements
• Supporting business growth, acquisitions and expansion projects
• Providing pragmatic legal advice to senior stakeholders across the organisation
• Advising on governance, compliance and risk management matters
• Supporting operational teams on day-to-day legal issues
• Managing relationships with external legal advisers
• Supporting and developing a junior member of the legal team
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the legal function and wider legal strategy

You will also have the opportunity to support, mentor and help develop a junior member of the legal team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their leadership experience.
