Job Title: Legal Counsel

Salary: to £90,000

Location: Home and Windsor (home working 3-4 days a week)

PQE: 5 years +

One of our in-house clients, a growing company based in Windsor, are looking for a senior corporate affairs associate / legal counsel to assist and support the Director of Corporate Affairs in the management of all legal affairs for the company with a particular focus on Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Commercial work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the legal aspects of the companys Intellectual Property portfolio including :
  • Coordinating external IP lawyers
  • Bringing oppositions to registrations
  • Negotiating settlements to disputes
  • Registration of new trade marks
  • Determining litigation strategy
  • Overseeing, advising and leading compliance to UK GDPR and Data Protection across the company including :
  • Being the nominated person for Data Protection internally and externally
  • Identifying and minimising data protection risks
