An established and strategically important organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to cover a maternity leave contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to deliver high‑quality legal advice. Job ref: 1806

THE ROLE

• Support procurement and contracting processes to ensure effectiveness and sound risk management.
• Drafter and review third‑party contracts, maintaining standard terms and conditions.
• Assist with key contractual documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefings on competition law, public procurement, contract law, and intellectual property.

THE CANDIDATE

• Qualified solicitor with strong expertise in contract law.
• Broad understanding of company, commercial, regulatory, competition, procurement, governance, and data protection law.
