Legal Counsel

• Monday to Friday days
• 4 days on site, one day remote
• Bathgate or Swindon

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Legal and Compliance Department, supporting our Clinical and Specialty Services business (CSS). This role focuses on providing practical legal advice and support across a range of commercial and operational matters.

The Role:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., service agreements, supply contracts).
• Provide legal advice on day‑to‑day business issues, including procurement and vendor/customer relationships.
• Support compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Assist with risk assessments and help resolve business disputes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of business, products and markets.
• Provide legal training for commercial teams.

The Candidate:

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the UK or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• Solid experience in commercial/contract law (in‑house or law firm).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong communication skills to explain legal concepts clearly.
• High integrity and sound judgment.
• A proactive, self‑starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
