Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Legal Compliance Manager for a well-known media company in Birmingham city centre. This role involves managing compliance areas, conducting assurance activities, and advising on legislative changes. The successful candidate will have strong legal compliance experience and excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a willingness to work in-office 2 days per week. Qualifications

• Strong Legal Compliance experience in a professional services or in-house environment.
• Holding a relevant qualification (e.g., ICA) or having a Law background is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and oversee compliance areas (e.g., Anti-bribery & Corruption, Modern Slavery, Financial Crime and Tax).
• Conduct assurance activities and act as an advisor to guide remediation within the business.
• Conduct horizon scanning to advise on upcoming legislative changes and enable implementation of compliance policies & programmes.
• Produce monthly reports for the Board.
