Blusource Finance Limited is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its Nottingham office on a hybrid basis. This role focuses on safeguarding client money and ensuring SAR-compliant transactions within a collaborative Finance team.

You will manage client ledgers, perform reconciliations, and support month-end processes while providing guidance to fee earners on proper client monies handling. The firm promotes hybrid working and clear opportunities to progress your career.

• Experience as Legal Cashier or legal accounts within a law firm.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Processing client account transactions in line with SAR requirements.
• Completing daily compliance checks and investigating any exceptions.
• Maintaining accurate client ledgers and completing reconciliations.
• Payment processing.
• Payment instructions verification.
• Allocating incoming funds and resolving unallocated receipts promptly.
• Providing guidance to fee earners on the correct handling of client monies.
• Producing reports, maintaining records and supporting month-end processes.
• Assisting with audits, procedure updates and Finance team projects.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a growing, supportive law firm where you can build a long-term career in the heart of Nottingham?

We are delighted to be supporting in the search for a Legal Cashier to join its friendly and collaborative Finance team.

The Role

As Legal Cashier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the firm’s financial integrity, safeguarding client money and ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and in line with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing client account transactions in line with SAR requirements.
• Completing daily compliance checks and investigating any exceptions.
• Maintaining accurate client ledgers and completing reconciliations.
• Payment processing
• Payment instructions verification.
• Allocating incoming funds and resolving unallocated receipts promptly.
• Providing guidance to fee earners on the correct handling of client monies.

About You
