Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Legal Cashier for a world-leading law firm in the East Midlands. This role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office) and a collaborative Finance team environment.

You will support day-to-day cashiering, including reconciliations, processing transactions, and ensuring SRA compliance, with month-end duties and cross-cover during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm.
• Solid knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA).
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Confident communicator who can work independently and in a team.

The Role

• Monitoring balances and returning funds where required.
• Managing cheques and office account queries.
• Ensuring transactions comply with SRA requirements and reporting any breaches.
• Supporting the Cashier Manager and wider Finance team, including month-end.
• Providing cross-cover during busy periods and absences.
