Job Title: Legal Cashier

What You'll be doing:

• Ensure full compliance with the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules and all financial regulations.
• Manage daily cashroom operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Process client and office account payments, receipts, transfers, and complete regular bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor client ledgers, ensuring precise and up-to-date financial records.
• Support fee earners and internal teams by resolving financial queries and assisting with billing processes.
• Manage banking relationships and assist with the oversight of all firm accounts.
• Contribute to internal controls, risk management activities, and audit requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance financial processes and efficiency across the department.
