Their aim is to find practical solutions to problems and to give straightforward and understandable legal advice.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. Ideally you will have experience in a solicitors’ accounts department, or in dealing with solicitors’ accounts, or have suitable accounting qualifications.

As a valued member of the team, the successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environmentand collaborate effectively with colleagues. You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Attention to Detail:Essential for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Numeracy:Strong numerical skills to handle transactions and reconcile accounts.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with legal accounting rules (e.g., SRA Accounts Rules).
  • IT Proficiency:Skilled in legal accounting software and tools like Excel.
  • Communication:Ability to liaise with fee earners, clients, and external auditors effectively.
  • Problem-Solving:Resolving financial discrepancies efficiently.
