Overview

Our client is a well-established law firm in Kingsbridge. They are seeking two Legal Assistants to provide support within its busy Private Client and Property Law teams. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to develop their careers within a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will assist fee earners and solicitors with a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Preparing and drafting legal documents
  • Conducting research and file management
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other professionals
  • Managing correspondence, scheduling, and general administrative duties
  • Supporting the progression of matters from instruction through to completion

The Private Client role will focus on wills, probate, powers of attorney, and estate administration, while the Property Law role will cover residential conveyancing, sales, purchases, remortgages, and related transactions.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a legal environment
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • IT literacy and confidence in using case management systems
  • Ability to work as part of a small team, while also managing tasks independently
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Kingsbridge
