  • Matching incoming correspondence with relevant case files.

Legal Assistant - Residential Property, Emsworth

I am looking for a proactive and detail-focused Legal Assistant to join a Residential Property team based in Emsworth. This role involves supporting the conveyancing process from initial client inquiries through to post-completion work. You will provide vital administrative and legal support to a fee earner and contribute to the smooth operation of the Residential Property department. This is a fast-paced, varied role that requires excellent organisation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and issuing client quotations.
  • Following up on quotations to gather feedback or secure instructions.
  • Opening and setting up new client files.
  • Reviewing completed title registration documents.
  • Drafting post-registration reports for clients and lenders.
  • Keeping clients, estate agents, and solicitors updated throughout transactions.
  • Matching incoming correspondence with the relevant case files.
  • Liaising regularly with the fee earner to coordinate tasks and resolve queries.
  • Handling any additional tasks reasonably requested as part of your role.
