Overview

As the Legal Assistant, you'll join a team of five lawyers and one paralegal. Your role is to assist the Legal Team in all aspects of business support and, in particular, act as an interface between Legal and the business. You'll become familiar with the legal tools, policies and templates and be able to point the members of the business in the right direction to resolve their request for legal support. You will provide administrative support across the team, including managing our matter management system, media rights system, managing approval and signature processes and keeping our templates up to date. The successful candidate will need to have a positive "can-do" attitude, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be ready to try their hand at any tasks assigned to them.

Responsibilities
  • You will act as the first responder to legal queries from the business, engaging further legal support from the team as required.
  • You will be the primary support to the Legal Team on a wide range of matters and routine administration. You will support by enabling the delivery of high quality, timely and efficient legal advice and support across the business.
  • You will maintain our bank of templates and support on their roll-out and usage.
  • You will take ownership by pro-actively spotting issues and glitches and ensuring they are resolved. You will support and assist the teams with the production and delivery of training to the business. You will assist in the management of legal projects, ensuring they are running smoothly and remain on track.
  • You will maintain the legal matter management system by setting up new matters, supporting on filing and closing matters.
  • You will maintain the media rights management system by updating entries, troubleshooting and addressing queries from the business. You will manage senior management approvals and signature processes, using our tools. You will support the business with training on our tools. You will manage the Legal Team meeting agendas, training calendars and support on team diaries and other ad-hoc administrative tasks, as required. You will create and manage project trackers, summaries and other internal documents
  • You will communicate with the business, the Red Bull HQ in Austria and external contacts on email and using company tools such as Teams.
  • You will support on the management of external legal service providers and related budgets and billing. You will process all invoices. You will support with drafting of simple letters and agreements, using templates.
Qualifications
  • Law degree or previous experience in a Legal administrative or coordination role, preferably in-house.
  • Proficient in computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and internet research).
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines across a variety of projects.
  • Experience working with a matter management system.
  • Great communication, both written and verbal - you can collect and relay information simply, clearly and accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to maintain high standards.
  • A collaborative style - you work well with others and enjoy building relationships.
