A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide legal and administrative support to a Dispute Resolution team. The role requires at least two years of experience in legal administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to engage in various legal tasks, including research and attending court meetings.
Exciting new vacancy for an experienced Legal Assistant to provide legal and administrative support to a busy Dispute Resolution team, undertaking fee earning work and managing client work from the start of the matter through to the conclusion. Candidates will need to be able to identify legal and factual issues in cases, and help to produce a plan as to how the client s aims can be achieved. Tasks will include researching legal issues, drafting correspondence and documents for court, providing legal support and advice to clients, attending court and client meetings, as well as other general duties as required.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience in a similar legal administration role, and be able to work independently in a fast paced, busy department. You ll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, competent use of MS Office (Word, Excel etc), and the ability to deliver a high standard of work.
