We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Legal Assistant to join our Court of Protection team in Manchester. The Court of Protection is a specialist court that makes decisions for individuals who lack the mental capacity to manage their own affairs or make decisions about their welfare. Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing post, ensuring correspondence is handled promptly and efficiently
• Maintaining and updating internal case management systems with accurate and timely information
• Processing payments, invoices, and financial records, ensuring compliance with firm procedures
• Assisting with the opening, monitoring, and maintenance of client and office bank accounts
• Organising and maintaining both physical and digital files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards
• Preparing, formatting, and managing legal documents with accuracy, version control, and accessibility in mind

• Previous experience in a legal assistant, administration, or support role (Court of Protection experience desirable)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
