Are you fluent in Spanish and English and interested in building your career in real estate law? L. Echevarría Attorneys at Law is seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant to support our growing transactional law practice in Lewes, DE. In this role, you’ll coordinate real estate closings, assist with corporate filings, and ensure every client receives exceptional service in both languages.

You’ll be a vital part of a collaborative, fast-paced team helping clients buy homes, establish businesses, and finalize transactions with confidence. If you’re organized, proactive, and ready to grow in a professional law firm environment, we’d love to meet you.

Compensation

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually (Depending on experience)

Benefits: 3 Weeks PTO (15 days), Paid Holidays, Employer-Sponsored Medical Insurance, and a Flexible In-Office Schedule

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys and paralegals in preparing and organizing real estate and business transaction files.
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and title companies to schedule closings and collect required documents.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents in both English and Spanish.
  • Manage data entry in Qualia and Practice Panther; maintain client and property records accurately.
  • Assist with payoff requests, settlements, and post-closing tasks such as document scanning and file completion.
  • Provide bilingual client service and ensure all parties are informed throughout the transaction process.
  • Participate in occasional community events or marketing activities that strengthen client relationships.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CRM or database systems.
