  • Provide accurate audio and copy typing of correspondence, draft documents and engrossments.
  • Utilise the Case Management System to prepare letters, file notes and other documentation.
  • Handle telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner, taking and relaying accurate messages.
  • Assist clients on behalf of Fee Earners, both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage file administration, including confirming appointments and setting up new files.
  • Maintain organised archiving of both paper and electronic files.
  • Perform general office duties such as handling post, photocopying and managing stationery supplies.

Legal Administrator - Part Time

Location: Fareham
Salary: c 24,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Monday to Friday - Up to 25 hours per week

Our client, an established and award-winning legal firm recognised for its outstanding client service, is seeking a Legal Administrator to join their dedicated team on a part time basis. As a Legal Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department by providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support. The position would suit an organised, proactive, and team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate audio and copy typing of correspondence, draft documents and engrossments.
  • Utilise the Case Management System to prepare letters, file notes and other documentation.
  • Handle telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner, taking and relaying accurate messages.
  • Assist clients on behalf of Fee Earners, both in person and over the phone, with routine matters such as arranging appointments and collecting documents.
  • Manage file administration, including confirming appointments, booking meeting rooms and setting up new files.
  • Maintain organised archiving of both paper and electronic files.
  • Perform general office duties such as handling post, photocopying and managing stationery supplies.
