Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced legal administrator/assistant for a full-time position. You will support Legal Professionals with a varied workload, handling calls, managing diaries, and processing documents. The role requires strong organizational skills and professionalism. Salary ranges from £23,000 to £25,000 annually based on experience. The office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a legal administrator or assistant is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Attention to detail in handling documents is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.
  • Manage diaries using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Create and format various documents.
  • Open and close client matters.
  • Maintain accurate records for client matters.
  • Scan and save received documents.
  • Provide reception cover if needed.
  • Assist with hospitality duties if required.

Job description

Our client at is seeking an experienced legal administrator/assistant to support their Legal Professionals across the Firm, this role comes with a varied and diverse workload. You would be based at their office on the outskirts of Tamworth on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls to clients, 3rd parties and internal members.
  • Diary management using Microsoft Outlook
  • Creating, editing and formatting various documents including letters, emails, Court docs and others
  • Opening and closing of client matters
  • Maintaining Client matters ensuring these are up to date and accurate
  • Scanning in any documents received and saving to the correct client matter
  • Copying documents
  • Reception cover if required
  • Hospitality duties if required
Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £23,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

Monday‑Friday – 9 AM – 5 PM.
