The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sports teaching, possess fitness qualifications, and be committed to student development. An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Buckinghamshire College Group for a full-time lecturer at our Aylesbury campus with the flexibility to work at our Wycombe Campus. We are looking for an experienced sports lecturer or suitable trainee teacher who can inspire students beyond their ambition.
Our sport courses offer students the opportunity to explore all disciplines in the sport and fitness industries. Subjects are explored in both a practical and theoretical manner and we involve employers in the design and delivery of the curriculum. We are looking for an experienced lecturer who has vocational / professional / academic experience in sport and potentially has served in the uniformed services. We can provide full teacher training and support for a suitable candidate.

The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
