A leading UK university is seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Cognitive and Biological Psychology to lead its new BSc (Hons) program. The role involves enhancing student experience, conducting research, and collaborating with professional bodies. A PhD and teaching qualifications are essential. The position offers competitive salary, hybrid working, and generous leave entitlement.
£36,047 – £40,548 per annum (Lecturer salary band)
£41,757 – £52,851 per annum (Senior Lecturer salary band)
A minimum of 37 hours per week – Permanent.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with expertise in cognitive and biological psychology to programme lead the BSc (Hons) Psychology due to be launched in September 2025. You will have the opportunity to support the success and future growth of the psychology provision, including the development and validation of postgraduate provisions.

The Department of Applied Sport and Psychology houses our well‑established sports coaching, sports education, and sport performance curriculum, and in September 2026 we will launch a brand‑new provision in psychology – a BSc (Hons) Psychology and BSc (Hons) Psychology with sport and exercise perspectives.
