We have a number of Lecturing roles available at our Rainham and Hackney Campuses for Lectures within Construction and Engineering trades.
We are seeking dynamic industry professionals interested in transitioning into education either full time or as a dual professional. This role offers 52 days of holiday and full funding for a Level 5 Certificate in Education. If you're considering a career change or a move into education, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The college will support you in completing your teaching qualification, which is essential for this role.

We are seeking an industry professional with exceptional communication and organisational skills to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate will be highly flexible, capable of engaging and inspiring 16‑19‑year‑old learners in both practical and theoretical aspects of Carpentry/Electrical/Plumbing/Property Maintenance/Motor Vehicle/Engineering.
The successful candidates will have a proven ability to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning experiences, or a strong desire to develop these skills. Industry expertise in Carpentry/Electrical/Plumbing/Property Maintenance/Motor Vehicle/Engineering is essential, along with a Level 3 qualification in the field. A solid understanding of current electrical practices is also desirable.

We are looking for passionate industry professionals to join our teaching team and inspire the next generation of Carpentry/Electrical/Plumbing/Property Maintenance/Motor Vehicle/Engineering experts. Ideally, candidates will have experience in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning to our learners or possess significant industry experience.
Given the technical nature of our teaching programmes, applicants must have industry expertise and hold a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry/Electrical/Plumbing/Property Maintenance/Motor Vehicle/Engineering. A firm grasp of current practices is also essential. While teaching experience is desirable, it is not required. We provide training and support, but candidates must commit to obtaining a Level 5 Certificate in Education.
