The School of Creative Industries at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised and effective course leader to drive forward the Level 3 aspect in Digital Art, Animation and Games Design.
You will have a skilled understanding, and the ability to teach and create tutorials, on a range of software and hardware including some or all of these programmes:
You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and, if necessary, liaise with external verifiers/moderators and coordinate the review and evaluation of courses.
As our Lecturer/Programme Leader, we would like you to hold relevant qualifications to degree level or higher, hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and participated in recent and relevant continuous professional development. With a thorough understanding of what makes for excellent evidence‑based teaching, learning and assessment in your field, you will have a strong record in delivering high quality learning programmes with demonstrably good outcomes.
With a keen awareness of future developments that influence this curriculum area, you will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting "at‑risk" learners to achieve or exceed their potential. You will be a hardworking and flexible individual with high personal standards and expectations with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail.
