Job summary

HIRANI is looking for a motivated Lecturer (Teaching & Research) to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to research at the Queen’s University Belfast School of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will develop engaging curricula and support postgraduate education, alongside participating in research and administrative activities.

The role involves a unique split-location model, with 26 weeks based in China and 26 weeks at the Belfast campus. Candidates must possess a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and a strong record in teaching and research.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant area of pharmaceutical sciences.
• University-level teaching experience.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in pharmaceutical biotechnology and sciences.
• Develop innovative curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Establish and sustain a strong research profile including publishing and securing funding.
