Overview

Job Title: Lecturer in Travel & Tourism (Aviation and Cabin Crew).
Location: Huddersfield - Waterfront.
Salary: £31,520 - £38,786.
Hours: 37 hours / 52 weeks.

At Kirklees College we are always looking for new talent, and welcome applications from all sectors. In this role you will primarily be based at Huddersfield to plan and deliver teaching across predominantly Level 2 NCFE Aviation and Cabin Crew programmes, and may teach Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism to ensure a high quality learning experience. You may use our mock air cabin and check-in desk within our crew room.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria.
  • Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate exam preparation, and provide support and guidance to students throughout their time at Kirklees College.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of the AAT programme, support student achievement, monitor data, and provide guidance to learners to promote retention and progression.
  • Maintain accurate student records, teach and assess across various courses, ensure academic standards are met, and collaborate with other departments to support student outcomes.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Ideally Level 4 AAT or demonstrable equivalent ability.
  • Demonstrable experience in the sector.
  • Due to the nature of the work, commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
