An innovative further education college in the Lake District is seeking a Lecturer in Media. The role involves engaging and inspiring students across various Media courses. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in Media or Film. This part-time temporary position offers a salary range of £5,756 to £8,752 per annum and numerous employee perks, including enhanced annual leave and CPD opportunities.
Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A’ level offer in Cumbria.
Lecturer in Media
We are seeking a creative individual with a genuine enthusiasm for Media and Film who is able to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities. Our Media lecturers support students to achieve across a range of courses including CTEC3 Media. The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification in Media or Film or a related subject. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
Salary: £5,756- £8,752 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)
Hours: 8 hours 40 minutes per week
Tenure: Temporary
Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (pro rata for part time)
