Lecturer in Land and Wildlife (Temporary)

Location: Preston

Rate: £35 - £45 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Contract Length: Initially until Christmas, with potential extension

Are you an experienced Countryside Ranger, Surveyor, or Ecologist looking for a rewarding contract opportunity?

This role offers the chance to share your industry expertise with the next generation of Land and Wildlife professionals at a leading land‑based education provider. You'll deliver engaging lessons to apprentices and learners, helping them gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the industry.

While prior teaching experience and relevant qualifications are ideal, applications from experienced industry professionals who are keen to step into education are also welcome.

The Role
  • Deliver the Land and Wildlife curriculum to Level 2 and Level 3 learners
  • Support apprentices through their qualifications
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Contract initially until Christmas, with potential to extend
The Person
  • Background in Countryside Management, Surveying, or Ecology
  • Ideally with teaching experience or qualifications (but not essential)
  • Passionate about sharing knowledge and developing others
  • Based within a commutable distance of Preston
