A leading educational institution in Royal Leamington Spa is looking for a dedicated individual to join as a teacher. The role involves delivering coursework and materials for Level 1 and Level 2 classes in Hair and Beauty, ensuring a safe environment, and partaking in assessments. Essential qualifications include a relevant degree and teacher training qualification. A mandatory Enhanced DBS check is required. Opportunities for professional development are provided as part of the onboarding process.
This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College. In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based People Services Department.
Admin time will be on top of this. Teaching Level 2 Apprentices, Level 1 Hair and Beauty, Level 2 Hair. A job share arrangement can be considered.
Any offers of appointment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly CRB), a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within ‘Regulated Activity’ within a specific place (i.e. the College).

All student facing staff will be enrolled on our 8‑week Teaching Essentials course as part of our onboarding programme. If you are not yet teacher qualified, you’ll follow a tailored training route linked to your role, with full guidance from our Quality Department after your appointment to get on to the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET).
