Overview

The Loughborough College Group are seeking an English Lecturer, to teach GCSE and Functional Skills to a wide range of Learners in the English Department at Loughborough College.

Responsibilities
  • The area is a highly successful team with over 600 full time learners. The team offers a wide range of provision from Functional Skills to GCSE English.
  • Deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons.
  • Ensure all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through implementing appropriate assessments and providing high quality feedback.
  • Teach GCSE English and potentially some Functional Skills to our learners.
Qualifications
  • A relevant degree or equivalent is essential.
  • Applicants must already possess a teaching qualification or be working towards one.
  • Previous experience of teaching English.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
