Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a background in accounting and finance to join our team as a lecturer. In this role, you will deliver and assess further education accounting and finance programmes, contribute to the development of both current and new course offerings, and support curriculum planning and material development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver accounting and finance qualifications to a diverse range of students across the college, learning centres, and workplaces.
  • Develop standard schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Participate in course team and departmental meetings.
  • Disseminate exemplar teaching, learning, and assessment materials.
  • Contribute to regular staff development sessions and assist in the creation of the annual self‑assessment and improvement plan.
  • Maintain and promote the highest standards of quality within the programmes.
  • Deliver both in‑person and online instruction.
Qualifications
  • Degree in accounting, business studies or a related field.
  • Experience as a lecturer or in a similar teaching role.
  • Qualification in AAT or comprehensive understanding of the AAT curriculum (advantageous).
