Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader - English & Maths
Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Teaching hours: 864 hours per annum
Basis: Full time, Permanent

As a Lecturer in English, you will be delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that bring the subject to life for a diverse range of learners. You will guide students through everything from classic literature to modern language skills, ensuring they feel supported, challenged, and inspired along the way. Whether it is designing creative lessons, giving practical feedback, or helping learners see how English connects to the world around them, your teaching will make a real difference. You will support students throughout their time at college, helping them achieve their goals and take the next step in their academic or professional journey, while contributing to a vibrant and collaborative academic environment.
