Lecturer in Electrical Installations
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: Up to 42,000 per annum (pro-rata, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience)
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week, year-round
Contract: Permanent

We're looking for an inspiring Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join a well-established further education college in Lincolnshire, within its Construction and Building Services faculty.

This is a rewarding opportunity to share your skills and experience with the next generation of electricians, delivering high-quality teaching and practical training across Levels 1-3.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and practical sessions in electrical installation and related areas.
  • Develop, plan, and update course materials in line with industry standards, current regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and support to help students achieve their qualifications and career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
  • Participate in open events, recruitment activities, and employer engagement initiatives.
About You
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation (minimum).
  • Assessor and/or IQA qualifications, or willingness to work towards them.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Level 2 (GCSE A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths, or willingness to achieve these.
