University of the West of Scotland invites applications for a Lecturer in Education (Secondary Art & Design) based at Ayr campus with some teaching at Lanarkshire campus. The appointee will contribute to high-quality, research-informed teaching and curriculum development.

Applicants should hold a GTC Scotland approved Teaching Qualification in Art and Design, full registration with GTC Scotland, and a Master's degree (or near completion).

• Full registration with GTC Scotland at appointment.
• Master's degree (or near completion).
• Experience using a range of pedagogical approaches in Art and Design Education.
• Learning, teaching and assessment experience within higher education.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogies in Art and Design Education.
• Experience in module/programme administration.
• Designing and delivering co-creative, active learning and assessment.
