The School

The York Business School is an ambitious and growing academic unit with Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) and Work Related Experiential Learning embedded in our teaching. Our School offers a number of undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees.

The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant undergraduate offers in Economics. The majority of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures, assessment, and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. The successful candidate will also be supported in developing a solid research profile.

Key requirements

Candidates will have expertise in teaching an area of Economics at undergraduate level, and have the willingness and ability to deliver a range of modules on our BSc Economics programme, details of which can be found within our programme specification. The successful candidate will be able to provide outstanding student experience. It is essential that candidates hold a doctoral level qualification or are near completion (viva passed with minor corrections), in Economics.
