Salary:Senior Lecturer starting from £53,041per annum inclusive of London Weighting

Lecturer starting from £46,472 per annum inclusive of London Weighting. The pay will be pro rata.

  • The provision at UEL has grown dynamically and we aim to continue expanding. This is a very exciting time to join an enthusiastic team of practitioner-academics who are able to shape and influence the development of the UEL counselling provision. We are looking to appoint as soon as possible.
  • We invite enthusiastic candidates who are BACP registered/accredited. We particularly welcome candidates who can support the development of our teaching and develop our research. Candidates with previous teaching experience and sound counselling experience are especially invited to apply. To teach on the postgraduate programmes you will need to have a minimum of a Level 7 qualification.

Candidates must have a passion for student-focused teaching, and a clear understanding and respect for the unique needs of widening participation cohorts of students. The successful applicants will have excellent knowledge of the professional and academic requirements of higher education Counselling programmes and will contribute to the development of Counselling in the university through research and teaching.
